Well-known for his acting skills and his Hollywood presence, Ashton Kutcher is also a business man. He co-founded a venture capital firm, A-Grade Investments, and invested into Uber, Airbnb, Spotify, Soundcloud and Shazam. He reportedly has over $100 million in investments in 2014.
Jessica Alba
The actress known for “The Fantastic Four” founded The Honest Company, which provides household products which are non-toxic. Furthermore, the company promises transparency by telling all customers the origins of the products and their ingredients. In 2015, the company was valued at $1.7 billion.
Bono
The globally famous U2 singer Bono cofounded Elevation Partners (named after U2 song Elevation). The investment company has invested over $1.76 billion into noteworthy companies such as Forbes, Yelp, Yahoo and Facebook.
The company reportedly brought in a $1.4 billion return on its Facebook investment alone.
There are many celebrities who run businesses on the side, as they expand out of the hills of Hollywood and into the professional business world.
