Indonesian-born artist Amalia Kadis continues to impress fans and critics throughout 2020. With 4 hit singles released already this year, the artists’ debut album I Found You has now dropped to widespread fanfare on 01/10 (October 1st) after it was initially scheduled for release in late September.

Amalia Kadis

This album has been hotly anticipated ever since Amalia Kadis released her first single Dry Under The Sun earlier in 2020. Despite the challenges that 2020 has brought to everyone, this artist has undoubtedly proved that new, enjoyable experiences can be had. While the world feels like it’s on pause this year, Amalia Kadis has been anything but static and has conquered her niche within the music scene, attracting a vast following in the process.

I Found You is the natural culmination of all of Amalia Kadis’ hard work this year. Having been forced to work remotely with her team, the artist has shown an impressive ability to release hit singles consistently throughout 2020.

Amalia Kadis

The album itself is a collection of 11 quality tracks, all of which showcase the signature smooth vocal style Kadis is becoming well-known for. Not only does she sing incredibly well, but the writing of her lyrics is top-notch, with tracks like Sorry Not Sorry and the titular I Found You really standing out.

The 2nd to last track on the album, Kau Sesuatu, is performed in Indonesian, allowing Kadis to flex her vocal ability in her native language. Not only is it a pleasant track to listen to, but it’s a great acknowledgement by the artist of her background, showing that she is still in touch with her heritage despite how far she has come as an artist.
